GMHAN Advisory Group Member - 11x Available Positions
The Advisory Group plays a vital role in guiding the strategic direction, operations, and growth of our network. GMHAN’s Advisory Group comprises elected members who are responsible for providing strategic advice on GMHAN’s direction, structure, operations and activities. Advisory Group members work together to support the mission of the network, including enhancing mental health awareness, sharing information, expanding the reach of the network and supporting the capacity building of members. Advisory Group members form part of GMHAN’s Leadership Group, which includes Working Group Co-Chairs and the GMHAN Secretariat.
Available positions:
There are 11 available positions to represent the following regions and countries within GMHAN’s Advisory Group:
The Americas (2), South East Asia Region (1), India (1), EU Region (1), Non-EU European country (1), Eastern Mediterranean Region (1), Western Pacific (1), China (1), Africa (2)
This is a voluntary position within GMHAN’s Leadership Group.
Roles and responsibilities:
All Advisory Group members are able to serve 2-year terms and a total of 2 terms. Advisory Group members will be required to:
Represent their region.
Support the growth and expansion of GMHAN membership within their region.
Join regular Advisory Group and Leadership Group meetings (3-4 per year are expected)
Participate in GMHAN activities and events.
Champion GMHAN’s long-term strategy and uphold GMHAN’s Code of Conduct.
Support and champion GMHAN Circle as the central platform for knowledge exchange, network building and collaboration.

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants are required to have been a part of the network for a minimum of 6 months (from at least January 2025) and must be able to demonstrate that they have participated or engaged in GMHAN’s core activities. Members must also be registered on GMHAN’s online community platform, Circle. Working Group Co-Chairs are not eligible to apply for this position as they are part of the existing GMHAN Leadership Group.
