We are dedicated to building a diverse community where mental health advocates are empowered, connected, and heard.
Through collective Advocacy, we amplify voices to influence key global decisions and ensure that local priorities shape national and international agendas.
We foster Belongingness by providing a global home for those often excluded from traditional power structures, creating a space where all voices matter.
By Convening individuals and organisations, we strengthen skills, expand learning, and build collective awareness.
Through the Decentralisation of Power, we lead by example - holding the sector accountable, championing diverse leadership, and ensuring mental health advocacy is culturally appropriate and equitable.

We host bi-annual convenings where members are able to engage in an in-depth exploration of relevant and timely themes and opportunities, through panel events and workshops. In 2024, we hosted our meeting online, across THREE TIME ZONES. We spotlighted the incredible work being done by Working Group members across the globe, with the session agendas being led entirely by Action Network members. This was the largest global convening of mental health advocates!

We hold regular meetings throughout the year where members can share their experiences, research and examples of best practices in an interactive forum. Members have the opportunity to share their expertise, ask questions, and get advice from their peers.

During these sessions, we feature the perspectives of panellists from around the world; including academics, advocates, policymakers, UN agencies, and people with lived experience - often from our membership. Each webinar offers dedicated time for an audience Q&A. Note: webinars are available to non-members.
To ensure language is not a barrier to your participation, we are pleased to offer LIVE transcriptions in over 100 languages at this event!
